Thank you to the Officers and Committee of the Dandie Club for inviting me to judge. Thanks too to my able stewards Nicola Spencer and Lynda Bromley who kept me on track and made my task easy. And special thanks to the exhibitors who honored me with their entries. I had looked forward to this day for a long time and was not disappointed.

Open Bitch
This was the class of the day, the three top placements, all were quality with correct type, make and shape. Second place pushed first hard, such a pleasure to think of details when judging an entry of Dandies. It doesn't happen often.

1st: Tinsley's Ch. Cloverwood Ice And Fire
Mustard bitch who filled my eye. Lovely head and expression. Strong head yet obviously feminine, a skull that filled my hand, good stop, strong muzzle with good fill at the cheek, large round dark eyes well placed, big teeth/strong scissors bite. Well angulated at both ends, good return of upper arm to match the layback of shoulder, meaty rear-quarters with short hocks. Lovely outline with the slight curves in the right places, good tail set and carriage and she put it altogether when moving as viewed from all angles. She wore a crisp coat of good length and she was pleased to be there. It was my great pleasure to award her.
